Testing Services We Provide

Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing:
Air Distribution Systems

Balancing Air Distribution Systems is the process of adjusting the airflow as required to achieve optimum performance of the building environmental equipment. The balancing is usually based upon the design airflow values provided by the Mechanical Engineer for the project.

Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing:
Water Distribution Systems

Balancing Water Distribution systems is the process of optimizing the distribution of water in a building’s hydronic heating or cooling system by equalizing the system pressure so it provides the intended indoor climate at optimum energy efficiency and minimal operating cost.

Duct Air Leakage Testing:
Positive and Negative Duct Pressure Testing

It is imperative that HVAC system design and specifying engineers have a thorough knowledge of duct air leakage, equipment air leakage, accessory air leakage, and how they combine to create HVAC Air Distribution System Air Leakage. United Test and Balance has the equipment to do both Positive and Negative Duct Pressure testing.

Leading the industry with these simple steps:

 Digital Report System

Certified Test and Balance Reports are created digitally by the technicians in the field, using the latest industry software technology. Data from the job site can be synced onsite, viewed in the office in a matter of minutes, and reports generated for all projects within 24 hours of completion.

Digital Prints

All prints for our projects are set up using Blue Beam Software. This allows for design review to happen during the report building process. Our mechanical drawings provided with our reports are updated with color highlighted duct, easily readable numbering, and precise equipment labeling.
